The second part of this discussion of Berman’s views on Marx looks at critiques of classical Marxism by existentialist philosophers, Marcuse and the philosophers of the Frankfurt School, the current of neo-Marxism and Laclau’s radical democracy, as well as Marx’s position in relation to humanism and human individuality.
