Many women believe that they are advancing in today’s world, but the truth is that this apparent feminine power is still being moved by the invisible hands of masculinity. In a world whose totality is dominated by a hard masculine spirit, the advancement of women becomes little more than a greater acceptance of the dominance of masculinity over their spirit and way of life within a masculine paradigm. This is why even the successful woman in today’s world is sad and finds her soul in chains.

When the feminine soul and its values are repressed and driven into the unconscious, they become part of society’s collective shadow. In seeking power, this shadow gives rise to a form of feminism that pursues power through patriarchal methods and by relying upon the values of an unbalanced masculinity.

Every woman who becomes more masculine ultimately raises men and women who are more disconnected from their feelings, creativity and inner intuition and who, in practice, become a fuller embodiment of the dominance of the animus. Yet today’s world, more than ever, needs human beings who are more creative and profound, more firmly connected with the generative sources of their inner world, and endowed with greater inner balance for the development of a more balanced global consciousness.
