With the orphan we learn to remain with suffering and to pass through it. Those who retreat from the orphan into the eternal child never learn how to remain with suffering.

Only the person who has accepted with their whole being the suffering of death and entry into the darkness of the underworld can experience the resurrection of their individuation.
