Dear friends, nearly three months have passed since this page began its work, and I would like to thank all those who during this time have kept the page among the things they regularly read, and especially those who have helped to expand its audience.

Every writer writes in order to be read. For me, thinking and writing are means of planting seeds of change in ourselves and in the world—from what we are towards what we might become. At times several days pass without anything being shared here, because the internal coherence of what is published, and its gradual contribution to articulating the perspective and philosophy I am trying to express, is especially important to me.

The kind emails I have received almost every day in recent weeks give me a heartfelt sense that today writing and speaking are better than the silence and withdrawal I had followed in recent years: the valuable feeling that, as “one individual,” there is still something I am capable of doing.

To understand more closely the views of those who accompany this page, and to bring the form in which material is produced and shared closer to the preferences of you, dear friends, I will post several poll questions below.
