The meaning of individuation is unique for each of us. This means that across the entire expanse of this world and of known and unknown human history, only one “I” can be born at this particular time and within the particular limitations written into my family, country, language, and talents. There will be only one me in all of history, and in our hands this uniqueness can be transformed from limitation into liberation and from ignorance into knowledge.

At every moment we are free to choose between darkness and light, chaos and order, falsehood and truth; deep within ourselves, we know and can see that the two sides of our choice are never equal.
With every choice we give birth to who we will be in the next moment and to the world we will see before us in that next moment. With every step we take toward the light within ourselves, we move the world one step further toward light and transformation.

Along this path, which we freely choose at every moment of our lives, we will discover a meaning that belongs to me alone and will not be the meaning of any other individual. My shoes will be too tight for someone else, and even the most beautiful image I can offer of my personal path will become, in another person’s hands, only a caricature of what I have lived.
