The national team is out of the World Cup, and the hired spectators must return—they have plenty of work to do.

In the end, as always, disgrace remained for those who reduce everything valuable to banality and, through shortsightedness, expend everything from the symbols of national solidarity to the natural and human resources and wealth of this country in pursuit of their short-term interests. For years they have inverted the meaning of everything and set these people against one another, and even against their own feelings.

In hope of better days, a free Iran, and genuine joy for Iran’s team and people at the 2026 World Cup in North America.

According to the organisers themselves, the cost of Qatar’s hosting of this World Cup included the lives of nearly five hundred migrant workers. There are many things in this world that cannot be bought through money and force. The Qatar World Cup was not a festival of beauty, culture, and free global unity.

May the world, four years from now, see a renewed Iran, a team full of strength and spirit, and joyful, united supporters.
