The difference between a good person who has integrated the unconscious dimension of the personality with the conscious mind and a naive person who has never looked into the darkness within yet imagines themselves to be good is this: every decision and action of the genuinely good person is considered and undertaken with full awareness of their inner capacity for the demonic. Such a person knows the pathways of the inner demon well, is conscious of them, and with all this awareness does not choose them.
