Mostafa Malekian turned sixty-four this Khordad. The piece below is a tribute to a rare philosopher who is trying to give new life to philosophical living among Iranians. I see his call for a union of rationality and spirituality, and his invitation to recover individuality and self-actualization, as an inspiring expression of a historical recurrence: a new rebirth of perennial wisdom.
