If you see Europe and the West remaining silent, the only reason is that your revolution is neither left-wing nor religious. This revolution is a historical awakening that will change Iran’s destiny forever.

What is happening, in my view, is not merely a contemporary battle but a mythic one, in which the people of Iran have returned to the day of the Battle of Qadisiyyah—and this time their will is victory.

It is as though, on that day, they closed their eyes and saw in a dream the centuries that would follow, then opened their eyes again and no time had passed. This time, in the struggle to reclaim the land of radiant Mehr, they will be victorious.
