I wish I could embrace every one of you... I cannot find any words except to say that I love you.

I saw the New Year divination from Hafez that I had written a few posts above... my heart tightened, and behind the unrelenting flood of tears there was a feeling of having arrived at that shore—the place where our hearts are together beyond this rainy air. 🫂

If fortune grants me the dust beneath my beloved’s feet,
I will trace a line of that dust upon the tablet of my sight.

I drowned in longing for the embrace of your shore, and still I hope
