Friends, compatriots,

I have decided to use my social-media pages to create an opportunity to introduce and support less well-known young artists and thinkers from our country. This aim can be realised only with your participation.

The audience of my pages is limited, but I have always been encouraged by the unique quality of that audience. Among you are artists, thinkers, researchers, entrepreneurs and social activists who, for me, embody those individuals whose potential social influence is equivalent to thousands upon thousands.

Whenever we think about social support, the first priority is understandably vulnerable social groups and the immense suffering they face every day. But there is another group whose support is not usually treated as a priority, even though our support for them can nourish the seeds of major social change.

We, the people, now know with our whole being that we have no one but ourselves. Sooner or later we will also understand that we are enough for ourselves, if only we recognise the value of one another and the value of being together.

One of my dreams is to establish a foundation to support young Iranian talent: young people who will probably never approach you or me about the material difficulties they face on the path toward realising their potential. But that does not mean they have no need, nor does it mean we have no responsibility toward them.

Through such a foundation we would be able to organise social assistance in support of these valuable individuals within society. In my view, such support is one of the best social investments a nation can make in changing its tomorrow and the future of its children.

Buying the work and supporting the production of these talents—whether painting, a book, a piece of music, or investing in their creative work—can make possible the continuation of their cultural life and the flourishing of their thought and work within our society. Help them become more visible by sharing these posts.
