You have also achieved the distinction of having the world’s fourth least valuable currency, the eleventh-largest black market, ranking 88th in the world in national wealth adjusted for population distribution, and 174th in the world for internet speed.

And another distinction that should not be omitted: alongside Afghanistan, you have managed to make Iran one of the only countries where not wearing hijab is legally treated as a crime.

Under such conditions, these people are not striving to reach Japan or Germany. Their entire struggle is for the possibility that one day they may attain the social freedoms of Bangladesh and Pakistan.
