Archetypes are our inner guides on the hero’s journey. Each is a model for a way of being along that journey. These inner guides have been with us since ancient times, and their recurring images have appeared across times and places in literature, art, myth, and religion.

Archetypes form the underlying structure of the stories of our lives. The more conscious we become of them, the better we can move within their psychic fields and, along the way, transform the story of our life into a more powerful one.
A failure to understand archetypes is a rupture from the evolutionary process of the world of functions.
